Even though Almoon bears a striking resemblance to Moonla, they are not related. This doesn't stop Almoon from trying to assume the role of bigger brother and trying to mold Moonla into the best file processor in the antimatter people world. Almoon believes himself to be a strict, but fair boss who only wants to push his staff to great levels. In the first chapter of Moonla, "Ticking Away", Almoon puts him to work at his administrative firm.

Art Process Notes: I wanted to do an actual painting of the motivational office poster Moonla has in his cubicle. I originally painted it in with acrylics and I had a good time doing it, but there were two issues. The first one was I made a few mistakes that I wasn't willing to overlook and the second one was that I wasn't able to achieve the chroma intensity that I felt was necessary for this office poster. I needed it to contrast the more neutral environment to really give it that feeling of fake sincerity many of us have witnessed in corporate spaces everywhere. For that reason, I redid it digitally and was able to achieve the desired look.
